      A great Graduation gift!by Anonymous

July 27, 2009: This is one of my favorite gifts to give for high school or college graduations, or wedding showers. My husband had this book when we married (a gift from his mother), and I have used it more times than I can count! I especially like it in the hardback-binder format (as opposed to paperback), because it lies flat on the kitchen counter, garage workbench, or washing machine. Yes, I have used it in all those places! In particular, I love the section on removing stains. The suggestions are specific to each type of stain (grass, lipstick, mustard, etc.), use common household items, and work much better than commercial stain removal products. I recommend this book for anyone who is 'just starting out in the world' up to at least age 40.

August 22, 2007: My mother gave me this book back in 1985 as I graduated high school. I used it daily as I learned how to live on my own. Not only does it have easy to use recipes, but there is abundant useful advice. I am now purchasing the book for my daughter. This is a fabulous tool to give any teenager!
