This is the dramatic account of the experiences of George Crawford, a bombardier on a B-24 Liberator in World War II. After he was shot down during a bombing mission over Austria, he was confined to German prisoner of war camps until liberated by General Patton's army after which he made an unauthorized visit to Paris in a stolen German command car, before returning home.

January 22, 2003: I couldnt put the book down. The minute I started reading it I had to finish. Very good reality of war book.
