September 09, 2003: This book is a WONDERFUL tool for chilren ranging from ages 3-12 it is an illustration book that Focuses on what the CHILD feels, during this time of separation or divorce, a child may not trust his/ her parents with their emotions- esspecially if THEY feel to blame for the disolvement of the marriage. This book has pages for the child to DRAW and openly express the way the feel, almost like a diary- and as a parent it is great to read over and discuss the fears that the child has- EVEN BETTER if you and your spouse/Ex can sit with you and discuss it. I learned with this book that Our 8 year old daughter was a happier child when we were apart an not arguing- but instead all of our attention was turned to her and her little brother. I wouldn't have known this without this book!
