September 01, 2009: This book has clear explanations for some complicated medical issues. It is educational, informative, and it helped me to understand a mysterious diagnosis, as well as the treatments. The authors explain the standard treatments, then explain why their treatment method has delivered a significant improvement for most patients.

Thanks to this book, I am now able to discuss hypothyroidism with my doctor intelligently and knowledgeably, making me a participant in my health care, not just a spectator.

February 16, 2009: I was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism after suffering from its symptoms for years while my TSH was between 2 and 3. After reading this book I realized my inutuition that I had tyroid disease for years was correct.

I was given synthetic T4 that caused me to have headaches. My doctor said it was impossible until I showed him a page from this book. Now I am taking natural T3 and T4 and doing much better.
