Synopsis

HPV is the most common sexually transmitted virus in America, and most sexually active women will contract a genital HPV infection sometime in their lives. Often without symptoms, an HPV infection can lead to cervical cancer; it is also the culprit behind genital warts, cervical dysplasia, and abnormal Pap smears. But many women have never even heard of this potentially deadly virus. Now this ground-breaking book -- the first written about HPV for the general public -- contains up-to-date, definitive information on protection and the most effective treatments. And sufferers of HPV will get the comprehensive and compassionate help they need.

June 12, 2003: I am going to be brave and admit I am one of the 90 million people in this country who have HPV. This book is lifesaving, easy to read and understand, and a HUGE help. If you are like I am, and the minute the doctor tells you that you have a serious health problem, your hearing 'stops' then you need to get this book. Dont be embarrassed to order or buy it. Within the first few pages I was so thankful that this book was written and is so clearly explained. Reading this book can clear up some major scares a person with HPV can have. I thought it was so helpful that I gave it to my OB/GYN and told her she must tell all her HPV patients about it.
