    Synopsis

Starting from the premise that successful students are not necessarily any more brilliant than their less successful peers, but have simply mastered the art of efficient learning, Adam Robinson introduces high school and college students to an innovative approach that can help them achieve top grades while discovering the joy of true learning. Line drawings.

    Annotation

Robinson eschews conventional methods of study--the underlining of key passages, the taking of voluminous lecture notes, the diligent parroting of answers--and instead teaches students how to get to the core of the material rapidly and memorably through a fail-safe program called Optimum Learning.

November 04, 2002: This a a "must read" for anyone having difficulty learning or reading those "difficult and dull" textbooks! It shows you how to "shave hours off" your reading time and teaches step-by-step strategies for anyone wanting to learn how to mentally grasp information in record time. You also "remember" what you've read the first time without re-reading the textbook! If you've had difficulty learning in high school or keeping up in college, this book is for you! I keep a copy with me at all times!
