    Synopsis

It all begins with the paranoid delusions of a half-insane hero called Rorschach. But is Rorschach really insane or has he in fact uncovered a plot to murder super-heroes and, even worse, millions of innocent civilians? On the run from the law, Rorschach reunites with his former teammates in a desperate attempt to save the world and their lives, but what they uncover will shock them to their very core and change the face of the planet! Following two generations of masked superheroes from the close of World War II to the icy shadow of the Cold War comes this groundbreaking comic story -- the story of The Watchmen.

Customer Rating for this product is 5 out of 5 Best Graphic Novel
A reviewer, who still loves comics books, 06/13/2008

While the Sandman takes the prize for 'best comic series', The Watchmen easily wins 'best graphic novel'. The author looks at the world from an entirely different perspective and doesn't bother to sugarcoat it. The characters are well developed and the plot was well mapped out.

    A reviewer, a high school student, 06/05/2008

...And what a great way to get started! This novel is unbelievable. This is no mere work of comic fantasy, it is classic literature at its finest. Romance, action, mystery, art, symbolism. This thing is deep and you'll love every second of it. I think I'm going to check out V for Vendetta next. Alan Moore should write prose.
