People destined for success can still escape their destiny. The process is not difficult, and the tragedy is not rare. All the elements are in place, yet they cannot live to their fullest potential.
The secret is to live in the now. It is not enough to be alive; we must live in the present moment, or hopes and dreams may never materialize.
Living "in the now" means more than getting up every day to push back the curtains of possibility. It means, also, that we realize and appreciate everything in our lives, so that life becomes more real, more precious, and more rewarding. "Feel the water on your hands while you are doing dishes," says Steven E. "Feel the wind on your face. Stop to look at the faces of your children while they play; concentrate on their joy and their energy. That's the now; that's what is real, and that's where life takes place."

June 17, 2009: I read this book in a particular moment of my life. As I journey through my personal path of self discover I sometimes need a help to go forward.
Reading this book can really make a difference because it shows us the extraordinary strength that can lie within very common persons and we can feel that strength too through their stories.I was moved by "Wake up call", by Laura Jelenkovich. Her story shows us how a very tragical event can became the beginning of a new life. More important: she teaches us that we don't need to wait for that terrible wake up call to start living.
