March 09, 2009: As someone who has been working in the voice over industry for the past few years, this book provides an invaluable source of inspiration and advice on getting your career off the ground and keeping up with the competition. The advice that Peter and Randy give in this book makes it the best book yet written on making your way in the voice over world, and the personal stories from many of the top talents in the industry are an inspiration to working voice over artists.

Voice for Hire offers insight from two of the most knowledgeable voice-over talent in the biz. It is a MUST READ for anyone who's interested in having the recession-proof career that voice-over offers. Before I was a voice over talent, I worked in "Corporate America." A number of my friends are losing their jobs right now, but as an independent contractor owning my own business, my business is actually growing!! I've recently completed a group of national television commercials for several Hannah Montana products, as well as other toys... and the list goes on.
