November 18, 2009: The Van Alen Legacy is a continuation of the Blue Bloods novels, and it is very entertaining! As Mimi, Schuyler, and Bliss find out the hardships of being a blue blood, their true personalities begin to show. The book can be kind of confusing when the narrators switch but then again every chapter has a new adventure! As turmoil errupts back home in New York, the reader can see a new view of the world as we follow Schuyler and Mimi through their hardships. But in order to understand what is happening in the book, I would suggest reading the first three Blue Bloods books. This isn't really an educational book but if you want to escape into the fantasy vampire world of New York then this is the book for you!

November 17, 2009: I enjoyed this next installment of the "Blue Bloods" series. Melissa keeps the story moving at a nice pace and knows just when to suprise the reader. The characters are interesting and the fantasy of the storyline is engaging. I definitely would recommend this novel.
