Understanding Health Insurance: A Guide to Billing and Reimbursement, 8th Edition is a comprehensive source for teaching the subject of health insurance and reimbursement. Michelle A. Green, MPS, CMA, RHIA, CPC, is a Distinguished Teaching Professor at Alfred State College in Alfred, New York. She is an active member of the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), and is a Fellow of the American Health Information Management Association (FAHIMA). She has won many awards in recognition of her teaching excellence, including the State University of New York Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching, and Who's Who Among America's Teachers.
