August 14, 2001: I picked up this book to read the inside flap and had to buy it! Ms. Lindbergh writes with a humorous style that caught my attention from the first page to the last! I was unable to put the book down. I was able to relate to the protectiveness of her parents, to the way she was in awe of, and feared, her father. Perhaps what happened to her older bother had an affect on all parents afterward. I enjoyed reading of her life with her siblings, too. They were a regular family, just with a known name.
