Synopsis

About three things I was absolutely positive:
First, Edward was a vampire.
Second, there was a part of him–and I didn’t know how dominant that part might be–that thirsted for my blood.
And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.

“I’D NEVER GIVEN MUCH THOUGHT TO HOW I WOULD DIE– I’d had reason enough in the last few months –but even if I had, I would not have imagined it like this. . . . Surely it was a good way to die, in the place of something else, someone I loved. Noble, even. That ought to count for something.”
When Isabella Swan moves to the gloomy town of Forks and meets the mysterious, alluring Edward Cullen, her life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. With his porcelain skin, golden eyes, mesmerizing voice, and supernatural gifts, Edward is both irresistible and impenetrable. Up until now, he has managed to keep his true identity hidden, but Bella is determined to uncover his dark secret.
What Bella doesn’t realize is the closer she gets to him, the more she is putting herself and those around her at risk. And, it might be too late to turn back. . . .
Deeply seductive and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight will have readers riveted right until the very last page is turned.

Why i hate Twilightby AuthorToBe

November 22, 2008: I've given a lot of thought to why i hate twilight when everyone else on the whole damn earth loves it. It's not that i'm not into teen fiction or anything. i am. but there were a couple of things. It was incredibly slow. That book could've been at least 300 pages less than it was and still would've gotten the point across( it rains a lot in forks, bella is boring, and edward is gorgeous and a vampire). Two, it really had no moral whatsoever. I didn't learn anything from this book. i took nothing away (although i stopped after 250 pages because i wanted to claw my eyes out it was sooooo boring!) other things, too much question and answer. way too much.
But the primary reason i hated this book so much, and don't get me wrong i liked edward cullen, i did, was that edward and bella were flat characters even though they were the main characters. THEY WERE FLAT. they didn't change, or grow, or mature. the only thing bella learned was that edward was a vampire. also, they liked each other. whoop dee doo. if maybe bella had learned something along the way or there was some POINT to reading this book, i would've liked it more. but no, i couldn't even finish it it was so terrible. although i'll give meyers the fact that she can write really well.
