    Synopsis

Samair Jones is fed up with being a pushover for her boss and for her two-timing boyfriend. All she wants is to live by her own rules. Then she meets hot nightclub owner Valentine Ward and the decadent possibilities of answering only to herself become daringly clear. Especially when Valentine is willing to indulge every one of Samair's fantasies- no strings attached. At least none that Samair can see. Then she meets Valentine's powerful, jealous, and dangerously manipulative ex-wife Vera. Vera's about to throw a new kink into Samair and Valentine's games. But this one could be trouble.

March 02, 2009: This book was o.k. because the author has written much better books. This book was alright, not that interesting or erotic. I just didn't care for the story being told. It was underdeveloped. You must make the reader care about the main characters for the book to truely fly. I like erotica with a good story not just for the sake of print ot meeting publishing deadlines.

December 14, 2008: Okay I have a tendency to read out of order. i read Wicked first with Karl. the ultimate ALPHA MALE DOMINANT. Since Val and Karl were friends I just assumed that Val was along the same lines. However, he was a definant alpha without being cocky and arrogant like Karl. I loved the story and would read it again. Samair has realized her life was moving in slow motion and not making her happy. When things happen forcing her to change her way of life she decides to go all in. and Val happens to be one of those things. I strongly suggest reading Trouble and then Wicked and then My Prerogative.
