Gene Deszca is Professor of Business Administration, Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. He is a past Director of the MBA program, and is currently the Area Coordinator of Management and Organizational Behavior. He has published and/or presented over 100 papers, monographs, and technical papers and 3 books. Three examples are the co-authored pieces: Cases in Organizational Behaviour (McGraw-Hill 2005), Canadian Cases in Human Resource Management (Prentice-Hall, 2002), and Managing the New Product Development Process: Best-in-Class Principles and Leading Practices.
His current research and consulting involves organizational change, the development of high performance organizations, and the management of networks in SME's. He has been instrumental in the development of the Society of Management Accountants of Canada's post-university professional accreditation programs and serves as a Director on their national board.
