    Synopsis

The capstone and crowning achievement of Heinlein's famous Future History, Time Enough For Love follows Lazarus Long through a vast and magnificent timescape of centuries and worlds. Heinlein's longest and most ambitious work, it is the story of a man so in love with Life that he refused to stop living it; and so in love with Time that he became his own ancestor.

    Biography

A science fiction pioneer, Robert A. Heinlein wrote popular stories that doubled as vessels for his political and cultural observations. In classics such as Stranger in a Strange Land and Starship Troopers, Heinlein blended suspenseful adventure with (sometimes controversial) visions of alternate worlds.

February 10, 2009: This book is an amazing representation of humanity in its raw form. Heinlein's characters are true and real, and this makes them easier to respect than characters many other authors have created. Science fiction meets romance meets Utopian existence and the reader may find oneself wishing that this world truly exists.

February 25, 2007: Lazarus Long is a great character, numero uno alongside Jubal Harshaw. Heinlein offers a compelling story which is definitely worth reading. I found myself laughing out loud at parts. Divided into many novellas, Lazarus's life takes on many different roles (actually all of them). I have read many of Heinlein's works, most of them I feel are timeless classics. Enjoy.
