May 18, 2005: Karen Armstrong's book assisted me in journeying through my leaving of religious life. She clearly and prolifically examines each period of her experience thus putting into words what I was feeling. It's funny but a part of this book made me miss the religious life and another part affirms that I am where I am supposed to be. I will always be a brother - only now a brother in the world.

March 27, 2004: As a former nun and contemporary of Karen Armstrong , I appreciated the shared experiences of someone who knew what it was like to experience religious formation in the 60's.
