April 28, 2000: Outstanding book. My 4 year old reads along with us and has non stop fun. It became an instant favorite from a kid with over a hundred books and a library card. I recommend it to any child or adult whether you are into dinosaurs or not.

December 18, 1999: This is a great book. If your kids like dinosaurs, they will love this story. My kids (ages 2 and 4 and 7) can virtually recite it word for word they've asked for it so many times. You can expect to hear this story's punchlines in your kids' conversations: stuff like 'Stop calling us pigs!!!' and 'Don't you ever brush?!'-- followed by insider giggles. I won't give away the plot, but the ending is hilarious (and will bring out a wry smile in anybody who's ever been fishing). Best of all, there's a moral that's true to life and encouraging for kids with a seeming hardship or difficulty to overcome.
