November 26, 2008: Hi I'm a 6th grade student and I'm writing a book report about the 5th series of the Spiderwick chronicles. The book The Wrath of Mulgarath by Holly Black and Tony Diterrlizzi is about three siblings named Mallory [the oldest],Simon and Jared [the twins].They're looking for thier mother who was taken by an ogre named Mulgarath.

They're in a different world that is made up by a book that they're great-great uncle made.It tells you what to do and where to go.In that world are fairies, goblins, and other things like that. The only way that they're able to see that world is if a hobgoblin spits in their eyes or if you have some special glasses.

The three kids are really brave. Mallory is caring because she takes care of her younger brothers.Simon is the smart one and Jared is the one who is brave.

I reccomend this book because it's a really great book. The book has another four series of it.I think this book was the best of the series. So if I were you I would go to the library and go check it out.If you don't want to read then there's other books that's like it and there named Eragon and the Harry Potter series.

I Also Recommend: Eragon (Inheritance Cycle #1), Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Harry Potter #4).

June 03, 2008: The Spiderwick Chronicles #5 by Tony Diterlizzi and Holly Black. It is a really action packed book. The story is about three kids named Mallory, Simon, and Jared Grace that are going to the junkyard where Mulgarath is. When they get there dragons and goblins attack Byron while other goblins are putting the kids on chains. Mallory got her hands free and attacked the goblins with a sword. Then they ran to find Mulgarath they went up stairs that were meant for Mulgarath. You have to read the rest to see what happens. If you like action books that have a lot of fighting you will like this book. I like it because at the end it is funny how they defeat Mulgarath. I also like this book because there is a lot of cool made up creatures. The words are very descriptive so I know the setting and the creatures in my head.
