November 28, 2007: I've been a financial advisor for 14 years and have a very successful practice and a radio show. This is the worst book I've ever read concerning planning for retirement! The authors opinions on annuities are totally off base and wrong. Too bad these writers are allowed to influence the general public with incorrect assumptions and bad advice. Unfortunately, unless you're in my field, you do not realize this is bad advice. Don't waste your money! And shame on the Wall Street Journal for wrongly informing the public. You're supposed to be a respectable publication.

November 27, 2007: I read this book and found nothing 'new'. I was looking for 'new' materials for retirement planning but this book failed to give out any substance. Next, I looked to see what Licenses and Credentials the Authors had to publish a book of this nature, but I found none, they were just lay persons. Some of my neighbors who have been investing over the years have more substance than this books shares with the reader. I belive that the the book is a waste of money.
