    Synopsis

Princess Nicolette Ducasse refused to let her sister marry Sultan Malik Roman Nuri of Baraka. So she traveled to his faraway kingdom to tell him the wedding was off, never expecting that Malik would be one seriously sexy sultan! Resisting him would be hard.

But Malik made it clear that if they shared a bed the wedding was on. He was a modern monarch in many ways--except when it came to his bride!

May 07, 2007: WoW! This story was like a keg of dynamite. The story should have had another title, like The Trick Was On Her. All along, you thought, when will Nicole put a stop to the marriage? As she disguised herself as her sister Chantal or so she thought, and later in the story found out that everyone else she knew, was in on the joke/plot to have her married, knowing how against marriage she was. I thought that it was going to all come to an end when she finally married Malik and found out that he knew all along, who she was, and everyone else in her family went along with him. Read this book to the end. I looked for this book for a long time, and finally found the book in the Friends of the Library store. I guess as they say, Patience Is A Virtue, etc. The wait for this book was well worth it.

August 17, 2004: Princess Nicolette Ducasse goes to the small country of Baraka to impersonate her sister Chantal who has been promised to the sultan thre. Her plan is to get the sultan to change his mind about making Chantal his wife, but she finds herself immersed in lessons on the country as well as in Malik's arms. Malik Nuri picked Chantal to be his wife, but the that arrived is anything but the quiet woman he was expecting. He finds himself attracted to her despite that and soon has to convince Nicolette that just maybe he has the right sister after all. THE SULTAN'S BOUGHT BRIDE is the first of a three part series by popular Harlequin Presents author Jane Porter. Each sister is a princess of two small islands which needs its princesses to marry well in order to gain financial independence. I really enjoyed THE SULTAN'S BOUGHT BRIDE alot, its a fun, feel good book as you become attached to Nic and Malik as well as Nic's sisters Chantal and Joelle. I know you will enjoy THE SULTAN'S BOUGHT BRIDE as much as I did.
