May 22, 2008: It s a great book as long as you keep in mind what it ISN'T. It isn't one person's essay on how to travel. Instead, it's a collection of tips from a lot of people. Some tips will be great for you and some won't. But just a few of them could make the difference between an outstanding and a mediocre trip.

May 13, 2007: Really disappointing read. So many of the tips are just bizarre. And the book makes you feel like travel is this perilous undertaking rather than something fun. Not worth the money.
