      October 25, 2009: This book covers a lot of techniques and provides a series of pictures to accompany them. I own the prior version of this book but this one added great value to my personal sewing library. It is costly though.

      September 14, 2009: I have been sewing for more than 50 years and got this book as a reference. It has not let me down yet; every time I have looked for information I have found it easily. The instructions are clear and easily understood. However, I don't know that I would recommend it for a new sewer. The amount of information could prove to be overwhelming for a beginner. Conversely, anyone who knows the basics will find this book a must have in their sewing library.
