June 15, 2001: Having recently graduated from the University of Michigan's MSW program I found myself as a new clinician in a community mental health agency having to write treatment plans for the serious and persistently mentally ill from day one. Several months later I stumbled upon this book which made my life so much easier! The goals and objectives appropriate for the majority of my clients were easy to find and met all the agency's policy guidelines and requirements.
