      Synopsis

The popular children’s story appears in graphic novel form for the first time in the U.S., with stories never seen in America. This time, Geronimo Stilton and friends must travel back in time to Ancient Egypt! The Pirate cats, jealous that the face of a man was placed on the body of the Sphinx, are determined to coerce the Pharaoh into changing the face of this monument. It’s up to Geronimo and co. to travel back in time and stop the Pirate Cats before it’s too late.

December 05, 2009: If you loved Geronimo's first graphic novel, The Discovery of America, then you're in for another cheesy good adventure by yours truly! In this latest time-travel episode, Geronimo and friends travel in Professor von Volt's Speedrat to stop the terrible pirate cats from changing history by giving the Sphinx a cat's face! A fast-paced adventure that all Geronimo fans will enjoy. I recommend the first graphic novel so you can start the graphic novel series and Geronimo's book, Curse of the Cheese Pyramid, if you want to hear about Geronimo's first adventure in Egypt!

I Also Recommend: The Curse of the Cheese Pyramid (Geronimo Stilton Series #2), The Discovery of America (Geronimo Stilton Graphic Novel Series #1).

August 20, 2009: Bought this book and the Discovery of America for my Grandson and he read them but wanted me to get the regular style book of this. I don't see that's its available and he was disappointed. So am I, why did the publisher change the format?
