The success secrets of the ancients-the most inspiring book on wealth, thrift, and financial planning ever written
Millions of readers have been helped by the famous "Babylonian parables", hailed as the greatest of all inspirational works on the subject of thrift, financial planning, and personal wealth. A modern day classic, The Richest Man in Babylon offers an understanding of-and solution to-a lifetime's worth of personal financial problems. This is the book that holds the secrets to acquiring money, keeping money, and making money earn more money.
What can a book written in the 1920s tell modern investors about their finances? A whole lot if it's George Clason's delightful set of parables that explain the basics of money.

November 15, 2009: I stumbled across this book as a young man many years ago, and found it life-altering. Since then, I make it a point to re-read it every year. The fundamental, insightful concepts discussed in this book provide the foundation for a successful life. The entertaining parables describing the trials, tribulations and eventual successes of the many characters outline clear, concise and consistent methods to achieve financial independence. Couple this book with Thomas J. Stanley's "The Millionaire Next Door," and you have the tools necessary to attain financial independence.
I Also Recommend: The Millionaire Next Door, The Total Money Makeover.
