November 19, 2002: I found Jessica Barone's The Requiem to be so intriguing! She has written this novel interwoven with history allowing the reader to see, experience, and even understand this ages old vampire, Jason Maura. At times the reader is even moved with pity for him. Once again Ms. Barone has written a novel packed with real human emotion! An Excellent Read!

Learn what it is really like to take those first steps out into the living night. Find out through his eyes what the world looks like to a vampire. A really great book and a breath of fresh air on the scene!
