July 18, 2009: This book was perfect for studying for the PMP Exam since it followed the PMBOK perfectly and dug in deep to those parts that are relevant to the exam. I did not study for the time frame recommended, so I bought this book hoping it would assist me and focus my study efforts. It definitely did and I passed on the first try. The exam was extremely hard, but this book got you to start thinking the way that PMI thinks. Most of my questions were word questions, so this was critital for me. I did not have any WBS or calculations to do. I would recommend this book for anyone taking the exam.

June 15, 2009: I read the whole book, finished all the review questions and passed my PMP exam on my first try. The book is a perfect compliment and guide for the PMBOK, and the materials provide summary for PM processes, as well as the supplementary information to various topics, equipped you with adequate knowledge and skills to tackle the PMP examination.

The chapters on time and cost management is a must for candidates, as the special sections on formulas clarify the concept as stipulated in the PMBOK. The tables on different processes, with key outputs, are very helpful in enhancing understanding to the project management processes, and well organized to aid memorizing.

All in all, a highly recommended exam book. Look for the next edition for the new PMP exam.
