James W. Robinson, author of Better Speeches in Ten Simple Steps, Doing Business in Vietnam, and After the Revolution (all from Prima), is a veteran speechwriter and political communicator who has worked for some of America's top business leaders and elected officials, including Ronald Reagan, former California governor George Deukmejian, and California attorney general Dan Lungren. From 1987 to 1993 he served as the trade representative for the governor of California and later as the state’s world trade commissioner. His accomplishments include overseeing the establishment of California’s five foreign trade and investment offices, including its Asian offices located in Tokyo and Hong Kong. Mr. Robinson is currently the vice president of public affairs for the American Trucking Association.
Charles W. King received his doctorate in business administration from Harvard and is currently a professor of marketing at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is involved in extensive, ongoing research on network marketing and distributor operations. He lives in Wheaton, Illinois.

Chapter 9, 'I Quit!,' is one of my favorite chapters in the book because it gives the reader the New Professionals IQ (I Quit!) Test. The test questions are thought provoking. Also, I enjoyed reading the 10 trends powering the rise of the new professionals and the growth of network marketing in this chapter. Overall, the book is very informative.

In my 6 1/2 year Network Marketing Career, never have I come across a book that shined such a Respectful Light on those of the Network Marketing Profession as this Masterpiece does. No fluff or filler pages, The New Professionals is filled with Solid Documentation and Insightful up-to-date Education, clearing up the distorted preconceived opinions that a lot of people have mistakenly obtained and sadly have held onto throughout the years. While Traditional Business Paradymes are changing extremely fast, this is Definitely a must read for all people planning on entering / remaining in business (both in & outside of the Network Marketing Profession). Dr. King & Mr. Robinson's unbiased documentation confirms that those in this Profession are indeed in the right place at the right time. Readers will clearly see and understand with confidence what they can truly have a hold of upon becoming one of The New Professionals.
