    Synopsis

Even vampires need a vacation. But Decker Argeneau's ends abruptly when he's asked to help hunt the group of rogue vampires targeting mortals — one that might include a defector in his own family. Before he can worry about that, though, he's got to rescue the latest victim. It's all part of the job, including taking a bullet for a beautiful doctor.

Dr. Danielle McGill doesn't know if she can trust the man who just saved her life. There are too many questions, such as what is the secret organization he says he's part of, and why do his wounds hardly bleed? However, with her sister in the hands of some dangerous men, she doesn't have much choice but to trust him.

Except now Decker's talking about life mates and awakening a passion that's taking Dani beyond anything she's ever known. Being undead may not be half-bad...especially if it means spending forever with a man who would love her with his mind, body, and immortal soul.

September 12, 2009: I enjoyed the book.. I have noticed she is tying the charcters together more which I am liking. I think that the next book in the series will just fuel the fire.. I like that the characters are some what all related or have some connection to one another. Main characters that is. She has also brought the Twins into a little scene in this book.. Gotta love the Twins.. :) Bring on the next one..

I Also Recommend: Dead Girls Are Easy, Match Made in Hell, Halfway to the Grave (Night Huntress Series #1), One Foot in the Grave (Night Huntress Series #2), You're the One That I Haunt.

September 05, 2009: I FIND THAT LYNSAY SANDS DOES A TERRIFFIC JOB OF TAKING THE READER OUT OF THE EVERYDAY HUMDRUM LIFE AND CREATING A COMPLETE FAMILY OF VAMPIRES WHO HAVE MORE HUMANITY THAN SOME HUMANS. THIS IS AN EXCELLENT ESCAPE AND AN ENTIRELY BELIEVEABLE WORLD OF VAMPIRES. I HAVE READ ALL OF THE ARGENEAU SERIES AND HOPE SHE CONTINUES IT. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS BOOK!!!---OR ANY OF THE OTHER ARGENEAU SERIES.
