Beautiful and touching

This is a beautiful novel about one woman and her family's journey as they smuggled Jews in their home and other “safe houses” in war torn Holland during the 1940's. Corrie and her family ended up in jail and finally a concentration camp because of her willingness to protect God's children during the Holocaust. Her faith and God's truth ring out clearly in her writing and remarkable story. It really pushed me to think of a more Godly perspective instead of one of this world. This is an excellent novel.

This book is very gripping and inspirational. I read it once a year just to keep perspective on being joyful regardless of the circumstances life may bring. A must read!!

This book is a must read if you want to know in depth about Corrie ten Boom's story. I've read this book many times. Read this book first, then read A Prisoner and Yet and Prison Letters because these books will give you an even more understanding of what Corrie and her family went through.

This is an amazing book! It is all about a woman and her sister who go through the trials and sufferings of the holocaust, for punishment in trying to hide the jews in thier home. The main theme of this book is how you can keep a good attitude in any given circumstance, and that through God, you can make it through antyhing. I loved how it told the full story and did not leave anything out, and it told it in a way that you almost felt what Corrie Ten Boom went through. I would recommend this book anyone who wants to learn more about the holocaust from a different perspective than that of a Nazi or Jew. It was great!

This was an amazing book and a must read. Not only does this book gives you information of the past, it makes you feel like you were there. You feel the fear, suspence and the happiess. YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK!!!
