April 28, 2008: This book is probably good if you have the other 2 books from the guitar grimoire series. Some theories on it are confusing for me. I returned it and bought Guitar: Total Scales and Applications. If you understand it, well good for you...

May 12, 2006: This book is one of my favorite books, that was lost to a student, and needs to be bought again, but I swear its worth it! flipping to any page and making a quick glance at a scale progression alows for hours of fun and new creative ideas every time! also, it is broken down very simply, and has piano key diagrams in case you want to simultaniously learn the keyboard theory as well(although obviously not as in depth as its guitar layouts) A definate yes. and i have found no other book to replace this one... it must be purchased agian!
