November 15, 2009: This little book has dramatically improved my life. I had tried using the TFT techniques developed by Callahan, and on which this book is based, but was not very successful. This book shows you the basics in a concise and easy to follow format. He gives background and a number of case studies. EFT is not hard, it takes only a few minutes, and it works in so many ways with no harmful side effects.

September 19, 2009: I had never heard of EFT until a couple of months ago and wish that I had known about this 30 years ago because this is really amazing. I have been a long sufferer of migraine headaches and have been taking medications to ease their intensity for most of my life and taking other medications for the past 10 years to try and prevent them all together. EFT works and it is a technique that you can do anywhere, at any time. The good thing is that while it works on my headaches and shoulder and neck pain it works on my husband's knee pain and would work on someone else's back pain or emotional distress, etc. because you apply the technique to what is bothering you.
The same technique is used for everyone no matter what your pain is, you tap on pressure points on your body while stating your acceptance of yourself despite the pain and it clears the flow of emotional energy and the pain disappears. I know it sounds hokey, but I was to a point where I was tired of carting around medicine in my purse just in case I got a headache and tired of taking so many of the preventative medications and suffering from their side effects (kidney stones are not fun!), so I had absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain and I was pleasantly surprised by the results. It is similar to accupressure and accupuncture, you tap on pressure points while repeating your acceptance statement or you can ground yourself with the acceptance statement once or twice and then tap while repeating the ailment, go through the series 2-3 times (it is very quick) and bam no more headache or pain. The EFT website it very informative and another book and DVD I highly recommend is "Try it on Everything". You can go to the EFT website and download this book (The EFT Manual) in electronic format for free and try it. I personally am a book reader and like having the book to make notes in the margins, etc. but if you are a skeptic and want to try the technique for yourself then download the free copy and try it. I have given 5 copies of this book away to friends going through divorces, one lost her father and was having issues accepting his passing and her daughter was having all sorts of emotional issues causing eating disorders and the technique has helped them all.
