      Synopsis

Wisdom, humor, and dark observations by the founder of the Church of Satan. LaVey ponders such topics as nonconformity, occult faddism, erotic politics, the "Goodguy badge," demoralization and the construction of artificial human companions.

      Annotation

A collection of essays, lectures, short stories, and exhortations from the Church of Satan's "Black Pope, " whose defiant hedonism and indulgent rituals have sold over a million books--The Satanic Witch, The Satanic Bible, and Satanic Rituals. La Vey was featured in Rolling Stone in September 1991.

March 24, 2005: The cavernous wealth of knowledge divulged in this ancient tome manifested such growth of impulsive ideas in my twisted mind that I felt compelled upon finishing to run through the streets as a madman on fire would. The author, nay, the GENIUS who brought these words into being should be exalted above humanity for his graceful philanthropy of pontification. Also, the pictures were cool.
