August 30, 2009: I absolutely love this book. It's one of those books that does NOT go in the bookshelf because you read it every day. Even if you don't do some of the items mentioned, it still puts you in a frugal mindset. What I love about this book is it gives you specific examples. When you read magazine articles and see things on talk shows on how to be frugal they give you very basic advice that you already know. Well the author goes into specific detail and I believe touches every area of your life with some basic frugalness. Don't hesitate to get this book. If you follow even a few of the things mentioned in it, you would pay yourself back for the cost of the book with the money you have been saving.

March 29, 2007: This book was a life saver to me (and still is) Some of the material is dated but what I have gained the most is 'inspiration' to live 'more with less'. Amy's writing is very entertaining and her life experience shows that it can be done. I had borrowed all 3 collections from the library but found I was taking so many notes it was worth the small investment. Includes the final newsletters not previously available.
