March 12, 2009: This book has it all!!! It has everything you will ever want to know about food and nutrition AND it explains it in such a way that even an idiot (though this book is intened for everyone) can understand. It is great as a refernce book, it has chapters for going shopping at the supermarker, for pregnancy, diabetes, food allergies, suppliments and eating disorders.
I also recommend that EVERY teenage girl read this to give them up-to-date information on eating and being healthy. Most teenage girls, and even older women, do not understand the concept of food, calories, sugar, protein, or carbs. This book lays it all out for you. Every person in America should read this book!!!!I Also Recommend: Skinny Bitch, The Complete Idiot's Guide to Vitamins and Minerals.
