November 15, 2008:
I decided to hold off on a review until 4 weeks into the program. The results are amazing. Although I wasn't out of shape before beginning this program, I found that I quickly gained definition and toning. I was very happy with the abs workout.
Keep in mind that in order for this to work, you have to be committed to following the program. Skipping workouts will result in slow or no progress and chances that you'll give up. The nice thing about these workouts, though, is you'll only take an hour to an hour and a half at the gym. You won't feel like you're living there and giving up your personal time.
Although the diet section is spot on, it is a very difficult diet to follow if you have family. My suggestion is to stick to the spirit of the diet (eating 5 to 6 times a day, cut out the fat, etc) not the literal diet. I found that I was burning way too many calories and the diet wasn't giving me enough. Sure you drop weight, but you'll also lose muscle mass.
Very impressed with this book and highly suggest it to anyone looking to tone up.

May 16, 2008: This book was instrumental in getting me back to the gym after years of not being interested in working out. The routines are interesting and they vary every two weeks. After going through a few of the routines, you should be able to follow their guidelines and create your own routines. I don't agree with their nutrition guidelines though and would suggest reading one of the other books below. 5 stars for the workout portion, 3 stars for the nutrition, so that's why there are 4 stars
