December 18, 2007: I must admit, I was a little leary of the bargain edition. It seemed too good to be true. I almost didn't order it, but I thought for 10 dollars what have I got to lose. I'm so thrilled that I took the chance. The book is pristine! There is a barely noticable black smudge on the back cover of the sleeve. I'm so happy, thanks for this fabulous book at a wonderful price!

December 31, 2005: Bob Dylan is indeed the poet in the alley, strumming his guitar tellin' us his views, recitin' the news, enfolding melodies, like a velvety draped muse. He is the rhymer of reason, a year of four seasons, who takes the time to explain, examine the facts, retrace the steps, amid the deluge, of loss and of pain. A wayward minstrel, who wants everyone to hear. Come listen to the message from a once younger, now so much older balladeer. Some carry a lot of trouble, down the road of dust and rubble, others wake at the break of noon. Me, I'll just keep on a listenin', showin' less expression but always a whistlin' one of my favorite Dylan tunes. The Bob Dylan Scrapbook is a compendium that opens the door to such an important era, the 60's. For a skinny kid from Hibbing, he absorbed everything in his sight. It is amazing that he just didn't self destruct. For everyone interested in Dylan, this book is a must. I proudly add it to my library .
