    Publishers Weekly

The paper-over-board The Artemis Fowl Files supplements Eoin Colfer's bestselling series, taking readers back to Holly Short's early days in the agency, where she works in Traffic and helps Captain Root defeat his villainous brother, Turnball. "The Seventh Dwarf" details LEPrecon's pursuit of Mulch Diggums and Artemis Fowl, who seek the Fei Fei Tiara. Sandwiched between the stories are pages describing Fairy Code and the Gnommish alphabet, interviews (including Colfer), a crossword and more. Copyright 2004 Reed Business Information.

    Biography

In the summer of 2001, Eoin Colfer was a teacher in Ireland who had just finished up a book called Artemis Fowl -- about a boy in search of fairy gold. Colfer struck gold himself when his high-tech fairy tale starring the intrepid 12-year old "criminal mastermind" became a blockbuster bestseller that many considered to be the heir apparent to Harry Potter.

October 20, 2008: "The Artemis Fowl Files" is a good book! It is fun to read and helps you to get to know all the characters a little more! The short stories are cool to read because one of them takes place in between some of the other books in the series. It is a definite great read for any Artemis Fowl fan!

I Also Recommend: Nightmare Academy, Magic Thief (Magic Thief Series #1), Midnight for Charlie Bone (Children of the Red King Series #1), Artemis Fowl, The Dragon's Eye (Erec Rex Series #1).
