August 11, 2009: I love this book for it's multicultural theme, teaching values and charming heartwarming story of a Dad, putting his daughter to bed. It's one of my son's favorite books in his entire collection. A must read!

The best in illustration and language in a board book!by Anonymous

October 06, 2002: If you had to buy only one board book, this one is it. Although this jem won the Caldecott award for its illustrations (bright, bold, and fascinating to young readers), the book's language -- rhythm, appropriate length per page -- are also award-worthy, and the combination of illustration and language is what earn this book the 5-star rating from me and my 11-month-old. We read it everyday, twice : )
