August 01, 2009: That is, all teachers 3 years experience and above. This book's authors assume it's reader is a reflective and experimental teacher. Those with little teaching experience would not be able to use half this book.
That said, this book is revolutionary. If professional educators were to put a quarter of what's in this book into practice, we'd have a radical shift in our paradigms of school, teaching and learning, with the result of increased student performance across the board. I have used this book as a base to train teachers in professional development courses for 3 years, as well as an instructional planning tool for my own lessons (I teach science and math at the middle levels). I have only had positive feedback from my peers and the teachers I've had the fortune to train.Get this book. You'll identify your strengths, and it will give you practical strategies to reach students you normally miss.
