    Biography

    Tasha Tudor is a two-time Caldecott Honor artist with over ninety books to her credit. A New England native, she has spent her entire career celebrating the landscapes, animals, and traditions of her home. In A Tale for Easter she recounts the dreams she had as a child on Easter eve, and the joy she felt on the day itself. Her many picture books include Pumpkin Moonshine, 1 is One, a Caldecott Honor Book, All for Love, The Dolls' Christmas, A Time to Keep, and The Springs of Joy. Tasha Tudor's other popular works include Robert Louis Stevenson's A Child's Garden of Verses and Clement Clarke Moore's The Night Before Christmas. Tasha Tudor lives in Vermont.
