June 20, 2009: I was so happy to add Sylvia's Bridal Sampler to my collection of quilting books. There are so many different patterns it's hard to know if they should be made as shown, used in different ways or just "what the heck" start quilting! Not only is this a fine resource book, but I find sewing, quilting and cooking books just plain good, easy reading. Of course, I love a good mystery, but for my creative side, this book is a winner.

I Also Recommend: The Lost Quilter (Elm Creek Quilts Series #14), Crazy Quilt Handbook.
