    WENDY BAZILIAN, DrPH, MA, RD, is a doctor of public health, registered dietitian, and American College of Sports Medicine–certified health and fitness instructor. She is the co-owner of Bazilian’s Health Clinic in San Diego, where she resides. STEVEN PRATT, MD, FACS, is the best-selling author of SuperFoodsRx and SuperFoodsRx Healthstyle, and a senior staff ophthalmologist at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, California. He lives in Del Mar, California. KATHY MATTHEWS has authored and coauthored 17 books, including the bestsellers SuperFoodsRx, SuperFoodsRx Healthstyle, Medical Makeover, and Natural Prescriptions. She lives in Pelham, New York.

    March 02, 2009: If you've read the Superfoods Rx book then this is the perfect companion. I wanted to lose weight and eat the foods that would be the most nutritionally dense. This was the perfect solution! I recommend this book to anyone who wants to lose weight effectively, efficiently, and permanently keep the weight off. It does not matter if you want to lose 5 or 50 pounds. This is the book for you! I think that the recipes were easy and perfectly portioned as well as the additional information that is included to keep your "cravings" at bay. This book is perfect for all people who want to get away from the dreaded "D" word - diet. This book promotes a way of life and encourages you to want to be healthy, sane and successful.
