June 29, 2009: I was delighted to get so much infromation in one book and now I don't have to borrow my neighbors book any more. I love the cross references for handling problems, being able to learn the many names for one plant is very helpful, and color coding is great. It is so easy to use this book.

November 12, 2008:
This is a really good source of plant information for any level of gardener. I used an earlier edition of this book regularly when I lived in Southern California, but now I live in Northwest Oregon and I bought this newer edition to learn about the different types of plants up here. I use this book everyday to look up new plants I come across in my job as a Parks maintenance worker.
This book also was a great help to me in my studies to become a Master Gardener.
I would recomend this book to anyone.
