January 09, 2007: I read this book to my daughters (6 and 8) as a bedtime book and they both really enjoyed it. It's short enough to be read by an early reader and would be especially enjoyed by girls who like fairy stories. There are B&W illustrations on nearly every page. The story is simple with just a little tension. This is the third in a series (Ruby is first I believe) and the premise is that two little girls must find all 7 rainbow fairies and return them to a pot of gold. It's not great literature, but it's sweet fun and a good way to get beginning readers reading on their own.
