November 23, 2003: I received this book as a gift and am so glad I did. It is so much more than one might think just by the title and cover. It is an in-depth study of creative uses of stone in custom residential architecture. Loaded with fabulous color photos--the bath, kitchen and flooring ideas just set my mind to racing. The back of the book has a nice color index of various types of stone products available--quite helpful. Lots of tips on how to choose the right product for the right application. The example of mosaics and floor designs would be a nice reference for those who do concrete acid stain or mosaics no matter what the medium. You're not gonna be happy with sheetrock once you see this book!!!!
