May 05, 2009: Out of all the technical books I own, this was one of my first, and favorites. I was once told by a very intelligent teacher. In order to be a technician someone has to teach you to be a technician. These words motivated me to find the answers needed to become a good technician. This book opened the doors for me to do this. It is written primarily for sound reinforcement, but it is also valid for audio engineers, recording studio technicians, musicians, and more. It is without question my favorite reference material, and inspirational work in my chosen professions. When ever I need simple straight forward answers to audio engineering problems, sound design, recording, etc. I turn to this book first.
