December 08, 1999: Guy Debord puts the Hegelian concept of the totality into focus with this seminal work in our search for real progress. While all the pomos are busy defining the inevitability of power, Debord puts everyone in the driver's seat now. The only passengers in real life are those who make the Great Man great. A so-called leftist, Debord correctly assessed the destiny of the Soviets in this 1968-text. What he has to say about capitalism isn't any nicer and just as accurate. Listen up, kids!
