August 24, 2009: This is such a sweet book that I was read as a child and now I'm reading to my children as well as my nieces and nephews. The fun simple rhymes and words are easy for small children to repeat and easy for anybody to read. My nieces and nephews, as well as my own child get excited as we read the book and point out "the red, green and purple car" as well as the other animals and objects mentioned in the story. This is the first book the kids grab for storytime!
